Montgomery Man Arrested After Passing Out In Yorkville Bathroom
The man reportedly fled the business but was later located and found to have an outstanding warrant.

Eric M. Long, 52, of the o-100 block of Marnel Road in Montgomery was arrested at around 1 p.m. Jan. 23 after a local business contacted Yorkville police about a man, later identified as Long, passed out in the bathroom. Long woke up and ran from the store but was located by a Yorkville officer and examined by a Bristol-Kendall paramedic, police said. After he was released from medical care, Long was arrested on an out-of-state warrant, according to a police report.

At around 5 p.m. Jan. 22, Yorkville police took a report of a one-car crash on Cannonball Trail near Amanda Lane. Police said it was raining and the driver skidded on the slippery road, causing the vehicle to go off the right side of the road and strike a utility pole. The crash caused heavy front-end damage to the car, and the pole snapped in half and was hanging by live wires. Police said no injuries were reported. The driver was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
At 7:25 a.m. Jan. 23, police responded to a one-car crash on southbound Rosenwinkel Street near Galena Road. Police said a driver lost control of her car on an icy road and drove onto the easement to avoid hitting other stopped cars. Although she was able to avoid hitting other cars, the driver's side of her vehicle hit a stop sign, knocking it over. Police said no injuries were reported.

At 8:05 a.m. Jan. 23, another vehicle eastbound on Kennedy Road west of Bailey Road left the road, struck a tree and came to rest on the shoulder of the road, facing west. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. Police said no injuries were reported, and the tree was not damaged.
