The 22-year-old Aurora man was traveling at a high rate of speed, according to police.

The name of the 22-year-old Aurora man who died in a motorcycle crash Tuesday has been released by the Aurora Police Department.
Christopher A. Gonzalez, of the 1500 block of Lincolnshire Ave. in Aurora, was traveling on a 2004 Kawasaki eastbound on Sequoia about a quarter of a mile west of Randall Road when he collided with a 2015 Freightliner that was also traveling eastbound. The Freightliner was turning left into the driveway of a business when Gonzalez hit the side of the trailer. Gonzalez was traveling at a high rate of speed when he hit the semi. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash but suffered massive head injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The drive of the semi, a 41-year-old Geneva man, was not ticketed.
An autopsy will not be performed. There were no signs of alcohol or drug use at the crash site.
