Yang practiced internal medicine in Yorkville where he operated Yorkville Medical Center. Three female patients claimed that he touched them inappropriately during office visits. After learning of the sex abuse charges filed against him in December 2014, he turned himself into Yorkville police, ABC 7 Chicago reported.
The alleged incidents took place between 2012 and 2014. The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation indicates that the Yangās license has been suspended.
According to state licensing records, he was affiliated with Rush Copley Memorial Hospital in Aurora and Valley West Community Hospital in Sandwich.
Customs officers worked closely with Kendall County officials to obtain an arrest warrant. Yang was turned over to the Yorkville Police Department after he was taken into custody at OāHare.
It is not clear if Yang was free on bond when he traveled and tried to enter China.
