Nearly $2,000 Stolen From Water Park Locker: Yorkville Police
Yorkville Police Department crime reports for July 13 weekend.

YORKVILLE, IL —
Friday, July 13
Retail theft
Christopher D. Johnson, of the 4000 block of Foli Street, Plano, was arrested in a retail theft investigation that took place at 5:44 p.m., July 13, in the 800 block of Erica Lane, Yorkville police reported. Johnson was taken to Kendall County Corrections and has been charged with four counts of retail theft.

Sunday, July 15
Car burglary
Yorkville police say the owner of a car at 300 Mulhern Court woke up and walked his dog when he noticed the driver's side door of his car was slightly open at 8:30 a.m., July 15. He noticed the arm rest container and glove box had been rummaged through, and police reported more than $650 of items missing from the car. These items include flashlight, sunglasses, cigarettes, keys and a garage door opener.

Locker theft
Yorkville police say they're investigating a theft of $1,800 worth of items from a storage locker at 4000 North Bridge Street (Waging Raves Waterpark) at 4:43 p.m., July 15. The locker had several personal items including iPhones, wallet, credit cards, money, diaper bag and a purse.
Battery
Jarod Selle, 19, of the 1000 block of Columbine Court, Yorkville, was arrested after Yorkville police said they responded to a report of battery in the 100 block of E. Hydraulic Avenue, at 10:50 p.m., July 15. Police say the complainant had a large bump and was bleeding for the head. Police charged Selle with two counts of battery, in addition to unlawful consumption of alcohol, and unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor.
