New Yorkville School Sells Bricks to Pave the Way for Holistic Education
Grace Holistic Center for Education will open in August in Yorkville, but you still have time to help fund this new school.

Tairi Grace had a vision - a school where students are treated as whole human beings. The Yorkville resident and business owner envisioned a place where students’ educations truly included their minds, bodies and spirits. She saw a building where pre-kindergarden through high-school-aged students collaborated and, with teachers and staff, formed a community. She wanted to change the face of education and she wanted to do it right in her hometown of Yorkville.
Her dream is on the way to becoming a reality and she could not be more excited.
“I started the school to offer an option to public schooling that includes a mind /body /spirit approach,” she said. “ (We will) focus on student-driven academics, experiential learning, art and music, organic lunches, aquaponics, meditation and yoga.”

For only a few more days, you can purchase a brick that will help Grace Holistic Center for Education to change the face of education and make a difference in the lives of its students and the community it serves.
