Oswego Fire Battles Another Yorkville Blaze
A Thursday afternoon fire damaged a Yorkville home.

YORKVILLE, IL — Oswego firefighters battled a structure fire at a home in the 2700 block of Crooker Drive in Yorkville Thursday afternoon. Fire officials said a fire was discovered on the exterior of a home at around 1:44 p.m.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, confining the majority of damage to the exterior of the home. Damage was estimated at $20,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but does not appear suspicious in nature, fire officials said. No injuries were reported.
