Oswego Man Sentenced 30 Years For Sex Assault Of Child

He pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault on the child, who was between the ages of 3 and 7 at the time.

YORKVILLE, IL — An Oswego man has been sentenced following his guilty plea of repeated sexual assaults of a child who lives in Yorkville. Todd Falkos, 39, was sentenced to 30 years incarceration, according to reports.

Kendall County Now reported that Falkos, of the 10-20 block of Sherwick Road in Oswego, will serve two 15-year sentences, for the two charges, consecutively. Falkos submitted his guilty plea last Thursday.

The victim was between three and seven years old when Falkos sexually abused them. The state's attorney's office filed charges early 2017 after interviewing the child. The assaults took place between 2007 and 2011, according to KCN.

WSPY News reported that Falkos pleaded guilty to two of the eight charges against him. He's also facing a predatory criminal sexual assault charge in DeKalb County.

KCN reported that at Falkos' sentencing, the victim's mother read a statement describing how the victim's ability to trust will be damaged. "[Falkos] should be castrated, drawn and quartered, then left to rot on a pile of fire ants," the mother said.
