Petty Theft: Yorkville Hit Three Times Over Weekend
One of the incidents involves a woman whose credit card wasn't working, so she simply walked away with the merchandise.

YORKVILLE, MN -- Around 1:10 a.m. early Saturday morning, a woman stole several items from a business in the 2000 block of South Bridge Street, according to a police report.
The report said she was upset that her credit card was not accepted. Then, the "male employee watches as the female took a bag that contained four bottles of water and one bag of chips," and left the store without paying.
The total value of stolen goods was $10.39.

At the 900 block of Erica Lane, a male customer entered a store with a backpack around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. He asked questions about an aquarium bubbler, according to a police report. "An employee saw the male with the bubbler in his backpack as he walked around the store," the report said.
The male left, and the employee later realized the item had not been paid for.

The bubbler was worth $47.99.
Another petty theft took place at the 900 block of Erica Lane around 5:13 p.m. on Sunday. Molly Toft, 18, of the 2500 block of North 46th Road, was cited for retail theft after she took two baseball caps from the store, according to the police report.
The total value of the stolen goods was estimated at $24.
