Photo: Marching Foxes Capture First Place Saturday

The Yorkville High School marching band placed first at a competition at Huskie Stadium in DeKalb.

The Yorkville High School Music Boosters provided the following news release:

’s Marching Foxes Band earned a first-place plaque when members competed Oct. 1 at the Northern Illinois University/Phantom Regiment Red & Black Fall Classic. The competition was at Huskie Stadium on the campus of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb.

The Marching Foxes performed their 2011 field show titled “The Music of Journey.”  They won the Class AA field show competition.
