The Yorkville Tornadoes finished their indoor soccer season with a 7-7 record as a U8 coed team associated with Just for Kicks in Plainfield, according to Coach Bill Hartford.
The league featured six teams, including three experienced local travel soccer teams. The Yorkville Tornadoes lost the first three games but came back to win six of the next seven games, Hartford said.

"I am very proud of the players on our team," Hartford wrote in an e-mail. "They all played their best and never gave up, even after losing the first thee games and playing teams that were much more skilled and experienced."
The team was sponsored by Ashley Ellis, an information technology and engineering staffing firm.
