Photos: Biz Boo! and the Halloween Egg Hunt Extravaganza

Crowds of kids flocked to businesses across Yorkville on Saturday for the annual business trick-or-treating event. A few hours later, they hunted across Beecher Park during the city's annual Halloween Egg Hunt Extravaganza.

More than 80 businesses participated in the 's Biz Boo! trick-or-treating event Saturday. Additional events included a pumpkin-carving contest sponsored by St. Joseph Cabinetry & Designs and a Touch-a-Truck event sponsored by Rush-Copley Medical Center and Thompson Chiropractic Clinic.

In the evening, the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department hosted a Halloween Egg Hunt Extravaganza. The annual event was expanded to include hayrides, a storyteller, and pumpkin decorating, as well as a search for about 4,000 plastic eggs in the dark. The event, which previously had been held at Town Square Park, was held at Beecher Park.
