Police Find Child Porn in Yorkville Man's Home

The 47 year old faces up to seven years in prison.

YORKVILLE, IL — A 47-year-old Yorkville man has been charged with five counts of possession of child pornography.

Marco Hernandez, of the 1400 block of Ruby Drive, was arrested Thursday after multiple agencies conducted a search of his home.

The investigation took place as part of “Operation Glass House,” a statewide initiative to apprehend the most active offenders who download and trade child pornography online.

“Each time these horrific images are downloaded or traded, children and their families are victimized all over again,” said Attorney General Lisa Madigan said. “We will continue to be relentless in our pursuit of the offenders who perpetuate these appalling crimes.”

Hernandez faces up to seven years in prison. His bail has been set at $50,000. He will next appear in court June 7.
