The Traffic Logix sign will be placed at various locations in the county based on traffic crash statistics to help reduce speeding as a factor in these traffic crashes. The sign can also be deployed on roadways in the county to count and log traffic data to substantiate citizen complaints about speeding vehicles.

The data obtained from the sign can be used to generate reports about vehicles speeding in a given area and determine the days and times the potential violations are taking place. The data obtained from the sign can be used to determine when to best have deputies in the area of traffic complaints received from citizens to help promote safe driving throughout the county.

The sign is not a camera based speeding enforcement mechanism and no citations are issued solely from the data obtained from the sign.
