Police Investigating Possible Abduction Attempt
Two Aurora girls were walking when they were approached by a man telling them to get in his car.

The Aurora Police Department is investigating a possible child abduction attempt on the city’s west side, according to a release from the department.
Two sixth-grade girls at Jefferson Middle School were walking in the area of Linda Court and Best Place when they were approached by a man in a silver sedan similar to a Dodge Avenger and were told to get in the car.

The girls ran toward the Walmart in the 2100 block of West Galena Boulevard and went into the store. According to police, the man followed the girls to Walmart, but kept driving once they entered the building. The girls were not injured.
The man was described as Hispanic and in his early 30s, with what the girls described as a “chubbier” face. He had longer hair covered with a black baseball cap being worn backwards and spoke clear English with a Spanish accent.

His vehicle may have had a possible partial license plate of E-73 and also had a small spoiler on the back.
