Rain Barrels are On Parade in Yorkville

Looking for a way to go green this year?

Consider sponsoring a rain barrel through the Yorkville Green Commitee.

Businesses, organizations, schools or even citizens are invited to sponsor a rain barrel for both display and auction for a cost of $75. Barrels will be displayed in the community starting on April 11 until auction on May 4 at the Yorkville Spring Craft Fair.

Sponsoring a rain barrel, the Green Committe said, encourages green initiatives, will beautify the city and support enviornmental education.
