Renovations Completed At Kendall County Office Building

The renovation marked the end of the second phase of the Kendall County expansion, which also included parking and infrastructure upgrades.

YORKVILLE, IL — After a year under construction, the Kendall County Office Building reopened its newly renovated space.

Overseen by the architectural and engineering firm Cordogan Clark, the completed renovation marked the end of the second phase of the Kendall County expansion project, which included parking and other infrastructure improvements across the Main Street campus.

Improvements included a new monument alley, improved navigation, enhanced employee safety features, accessibility upgrades, and a redesigned Main Street orientation.

The renovated space houses the office of administration; finance; human resources; IT; planning, building and zoning; assessments; and treasurer. It will also continue to serve as the main location for county board meetings. Construction began a year ago in February. Operations returned to the building Feb. 17.

To celebrate the completion of the project, the Kendall County Board held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Feb. 10.
