Bike Path Battery, Suicidal Threat: Kendall Co. Sheriff Log

Here's what the Kendall County Sheriff's Office was up to Monday.

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Kendall County Sheriff's Office released information about their activity on Monday, Oct. 15. There were no arrests for violent crimes. One person making suicidal threats was taken to an area hospital for evaluation. Any charges listed do not imply guilt.

Battery
On Monday, Oct. 15, at 9 a.m., law enforcement got a report of a battery. Sheriff's deputies with Kendall County were dispatched to the bike path on the 1600-1700 block of Route 25 Drive in Oswego on the report. They're investigating.

Battery/Suicidal Threats
On Monday, Oct. 15, soon after 10:30 p.m., Sheriff's deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Cayman Drive in Oswego on a report of suicidal threats, domestic and aggravated battery and criminal damage to property. Police say a deputy was "battered" while on the call, but wasn't injured. The subject was taken to Copley for evaluation. No charges have been filed, and the sheriff's department is investigating.

Driving While Suspended
On Monday, Oct. 15, around 11:30 p.m., sheriff's deputies pulled over Jason Rodriguez, 30, of Indiana, for speeding by the intersection of Rt. 126 and Schlapp Road in Na-Au-Say. Rodriguez was charged with driving with a suspended license and summoned to court. He also got a warning for speeding.
