Sheriff's Office Hires New Corrections Deputy
Deputy Lee Cooper is the third generation of law enforcement officers in his family.

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office has hired a new Deputy Sheriff to fill a vacant position in the Corrections Division.
Oswego resident Lee Cooper was sworn in Feb. 1 by Sheriff Dwight A. Baird.
Deputy Cooper will attend the Correction’s Officer Academy at the Police Training Institute in DuPage County beginning Feb. 15. Upon successful completion of the academy, Deputy Cooper will be paired with an experienced Field Training Officer and will undergo a rigorous 12 week field training program.

Deputy Cooper, an Oswego resident, is a graduate of Oswego High School. Deputy Cooper is a third generation law enforcement officer following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, both retired law enforcement officers.
