Jerardo Rojas, 28, of the 1300 block of Chestnut Lane, was arrested on a DUI charge after police responded to the area of East Countryside Parkway and McHuge Road at around 11:44 p.m. April 1 for the report of a driver asleep in a black vehicle.
Yorkville police responded to a report of an unknown person or persons stealing various steel tubes from a business in the 1200 block of Badger Street sometime between March 30 and April 3.
At around 9:07 p.m. April 3, a 21-year-old driver lost control negotiating a curve in the 3200 block of Cannonball Trail, causing her Kia Optima to leave the roadway and strike a utility pole. The crash caused damage to both the pole and the rear bump of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
