Two Hurt in Car Vs. Semi Crash: Kendall Police
Driver cited for pulling out in front of truck.

A Yorkville woman and her passenger, a 35-year-old Aurora woman, were hurt Friday when their vehicle was struck by a semi-trailer at Route 126 and Ridge Road, Kendall County Sheriff’s police said.
The driver, 55-year-old Grace Cherry, was making a left onto Route 126 at around 5:08 p.m. when the car was struck by a semi-trailer driving by a 33-year-old Kewanee, Illinois man.
Police said both Cherry and her passenger were taken to an area hospital with injuries, police said. The truck driver was not injured.

Cherry was cited for failure to yield at an intersection. Route 126 was closed for more than two hours following the crash, police said.
