A Visit By Benjamin Franklin

Celebrate the 4th with Ben Franklin while he tells stories of his youth, his inventions (lightning rod, stove, bifocal glasses, book grabber, swim fins, first political cartoon), his firsts (police force, volunteer fire department, fire insurance company, lending library, hospital, educational academy) and people of the revolution. You’ll also hear of spy stories, secret codes, and Congressional jealousies.
