Walsh Drive to Close Monday for Drainage Improvements

The United City of Yorkville this week announced that Len Cox & Sons Excavating will begin the work associated with Walsh Drive Drainage Improvements the week of Sept. 29.

Work will be completed on or before Nov. 14, according to the city.

The work will generally consist of 55 feet of storm sewer removal and replacement and the construction of a new 30-inch storm sewer under Walsh Drive. During the construction of the 30-inch storm sewer, Walsh Drive will be closed to traffic.
