Woman, 74, Turns Herself In For Fatal Pedestrian Crash In 2025: Yorkville Police
The driver had alcohol in her system and had been using her cell phone at the time of the crash, investigators said.

YORKVILLE, IL — A 74-year-old woman turned herself in Friday in connection with a fatal pedestrian crash in October 2025, Yorkville police said.
Edith Graff, of the 11200 block of Legion Road in Yorkville, was booked at the Kendall County jail on these charges: three counts of aggravated driving under the influence resulting in death, aggravated reckless driving and reckless conduct.
Yorkville police said that at about 4:28 p.m. Oct. 4, Graff crossed the white fog line while driving near Route 71 and Walsh Drive and struck a pedestrian.

In addition to toxicology results indicating Graff had alcohol in her system, she had also been using her cell phone at the time of the crash, according to investigators.
