Woman Hurt In Crash: Yorkville Police Reports

Also: Tobacco, cannabis possession and a DUI with multiple warrants.

1 hurt in crash

A 56-year-old Yorkville woman was hospitalized Friday after a two-car crash near Route 47 and Van Emmon. Police said the driver of another vehicle was heading west on Van Emmon at Route 47 when it struck the passenger side door of the woman's vehicle. Neither vehicle had to be towed by the woman was taken to Rush-Copley hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Tobacco, cannabis possession

A male juvenile was cited for unlawful possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia after conducting a traffic stop on his vehicle Friday at Route 47 and Landmark Avenue. Another male juvenile in the vehicle was cited for unlawful possession of tobacco by a minor.

DUI

Miguel A. Lozano, 29, of the 1300 block of Glen Circle Drive, Aurora, was charged with DUI and illegal transportation of alcohol after being stopped Sunday on Countryside Parkway north of Route 34. A passenger in the vehicle, Janet Lopez, was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol.

Donna F. Demarco, 33, of the 200 block of Manhattan Circle, Oswego, was charged with DUI Sunday after being stopped in the 200 block of East Veterans Parkway. She was also charged with driving on a suspended license and booked on three in-state warrants, police said.
