
The City of Yorkville’s 61st Annual Fourth of July celebration will be held Saturday, July 4.
The parade will start at 9 a.m. and the route will be changing this year due to the Game Farm Rd. construction. The parade will start and finish at the Yorkville Freshman Academy Parking lot, beginning at Church St. and ending on West. St.
Activities, like the kids foot race, rides and waterfights, are set to begin immediately following the parade. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

The Yorkville Big Band will perform at 8 p.m. at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home.

The fireworks will begin at dusk and will be shot off around Rt. 47 and Countryside Parkway located south of Menards.
Aside from the food and drinks, all Independence Day activities are free to everyone. Donations are welcome and checks can be made out to the United City of Yorkville and mailed to United City of Yorkville, 800 Game Farm Road, Yorkville, Illinois 60560. Yorkville asks that you write “4th of July’ in the memo line. All donations are tax deductible.
