Someone swiped two pairs of 3-D glasses and a Logitech Harmony universal remote from a Ford F150 parked at Jiffy Lube Super Brite Wash, 1845 Marketview Drive.
An off-duty police officer was on his way to work when he spotted a driver who appeared to be intoxicated. The officer followed behind the vehicle south on Cannonball Trail when it swerved to the right and struck a curb, deflating both passenger side tires. The vehicle pulled into the parking space. The driver, Kartheek K. Shama 28, of Oswego, was charged with DUI, police said.

Yorkville police were dispatched to a parking lot in the 1100 block of West Veterans Parkway to investigate a person asleep in a vehicle. Police said the driver admitted to drinking alcohol and failed field sobriety tests. Neil K. Talavera was charged with DUI.
