Yorkville Drunken Driver Leaves Road, Rolls Car: Cops

The 40-year-old man was charged with driving under the influence.

A 40-year-old Yorkville man arrested for driving under the influence after his vehicle left the road and rolled several times.

In addition to the DUI, Joseph George Gomoll, 40, of the 10100 block of Lisbon Rd., was also charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage, disobeying a traffic control device, unsafe equipment, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to report an accident to police, according to the Yorkville Police Department.

Police say Gomoll was traveling at Lisbon Rd and Highpoint Rd. when his vehicle left the road and rolled. The man was contacted at the scene of the crash and found to be under the influence.

Gomoll was subsequently arrested.
