Yorkville High School Athletes Receive Academic All Conference Award
Juniors or seniors on a varsity team were eligible for the award.
Yorkville High School winter athletes received the NIBig 12 Academic All Conference Award, according to Yorkville School District 115.
To receive this honor, students must be a junior or senior on a varsity team and maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average.
The following students received the award:
Cheerleading: Shannon Kicher, Devanie Tucker & Nicole Peck
Dance Team: Hailey Trudo & Sydney Batchelor
Boy's Basketball: Josh Gengler & Nicholas Firrantello
Wrestling: Austin Wolf
Girl's Basketball: Mackenzie Bollinger, Brittany Straznickas, Courtney Bass, Rachael Owens & Lindsey Schlichting.

The girls basketball team was also awarded the IHSA All-Academic Team Award for maintaining a team 3.5 grade point average.
