Yorkville Hosts 'Holiday Under the Stars,' Fireworks Show

Event is Nov. 22.

The United City of Yorkville will host its Holiday Under the Stars & Fireworks Show Saturday, Nov. 22 in downtown Yorkville and Riverfront Park, 131 E. Hydraulic Ave.

The event will kick off the holiday season this year with a traditional tree lighting ceremony, food, Santa’s workshop with a visit from Santa, and to the end the evening, a holiday fireworks show.

  • 9am - Breakfast with Santa at Cobblestone Bakery and Bistro (must register)
  • 11am - Junior Women’s Kris Kringle Market
  • 1pm - 5pm Free Visits with Santa
  • 5pm - Gold Star Dance Performance
  • 5:30pm -Yorkville Madrigals Performance
  • 6:00pm – Holiday Performance
  • 6:30pm - Tree Lighting Ceremony
  • After the Tree Lighting Ceremony - Fireworks Show

Breakfast with Santa

For $7 per person, families will enjoy pastry and a drink while visiting with Santa and his elves. Guests are invited to bring their cameras to capture the special moment with their children and Santa.

A limited breakfast menu will also be available for additional purchase.

Toys for Tots

Cobblestone Bakery & Bistro, 101 W. Van Emmon St., will collect items for Toys for Tots for families in need during the breakfast. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.

Drop off donations between 9 and 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22.
