Yorkville Man, 71-Year-Old Woman Arrested
Police arrived after the man was throwing garbage into the street, but they locked themselves inside the home.

YORKVILLE, IL — Two Yorkville residents were arrested Thursday morning after Yorkville police responded to the 2500 block of Overlook Court at around 9:20 a.m., on a call of a disturbance, according to a police report.
Charlene Johnson, 71, was arrested for obstructing a peace officer and resisting a peace officer, and Tad Johnson, 43, was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting a peace officer. They both live in the 2500 block of Overlook Court.
The report says Tad Johnson was throwing trash into the street in the midst of an argument. When police arrived, Tad and Charlene locked themselves inside of the house.

"A short time later," they attempted to flee the scene in a vehicle, but were arrested in the process.
