YORKVILLE, IL — A 59-year-old Yorkville man was found dead in a campground Tuesday morning.
According to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, the man was found at around 4:43 a.m. after a deputy on patrol in the area of Fox Road and Fox River Drive in unincorporated Plano found a pickup truck parked on the west end of the Cedar Ridge Primitive Campground. The man was found unresponsive in an area west of the truck, according to police.
Paramedics were called to the scene, but were unable to resuscitate the man. The death is believed to have been a suicide, but the investigation is ongoing and foul play is not suspected.

The man’s name has not been released due to some family members not being notified.
