Yorkville Man Learns Prison Sentence For Sexually Assaulting Girl: State's Attorney
The man, now 24, admitted to some of the sexual assaults, but "only to some acts and only when he himself was a minor," Weis said.

YORKVILLE, IL — A Yorkville man was sentenced to 12 years in prison after he was found to have sexually assaulted a girl beginning when she was 9 years old, Kendall County State's Attorney Eric Weis said.
Following a three-day trial in October, a jury found Chaske Roskopf, 24, guilty of two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, punishable with up to 30 years in prison. Judge Gleason sentenced Roskopf to the minimum sentence of 6 years in prison on each count. The sentencing came after a contested hearing.
Charges were filed in 2022 after a Kendall County Sheriff's Office investigation revealed Roskopf had been sexually assaulting the young girl "by using force." The assault continued until the victim was almost 13, according to Weis.
