Yorkville Man Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Crash

A Yorkville man was seriously injured around 8:39 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, after he was hit by a vehicle while riding his motorcycle, according to a Chicago Tribune report.

Daniel Diguido, 49, was airlifted to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove from the scene of the accident, which occurred in the 11000 block of Fox Road in Yorkville.

According to police reports, Alan Duggan, 71, of the 11000 block of Fox Road, failed to yield while turning left in his 2006 Honda Ridgeline. Duggan drove into the path of Diguido’s 2005 Harley Davidson. Diguido is a Yorkville resident from the 500 block of Washington Street.

The Yorkville Police are still investigating the accident. Duggan was cited for failing to yield while turning left.
