Yorkville Middle School Student Died Unexpectedly Tuesday

YORKVILLE, IL — A Yorkville Middle School eighth-grade student died unexpectedly Tuesday evening.

Students at the middle school will be given counseling services, Yorkville School District 115 spokesperson Kristine Liptrot said.

"Student Services personnel shared this sad news with YMS students and will be available throughout the week to help students who have been personally touched by this and are in need of support," Liptrot said in an email. "Any students needing assistance are asked to talk to their school counselor."
