Yorkville Motorcyclist Injured After Driving Recklessly: Police

No citations were issued to the 29-year-old man.

A 29-year-old Yorkville man was taken to the hospital the evening of Oct. 25 after he was driving recklessly on his motorcycle and crashed, according to Yorkville police.

The driver, of the 1000 block of Western Lane, was traveling behind a business located at 905 Erica Lane at around 8:15 p.m. when he lost control of his motorcycle due to reckless driving. The cycle struck the concrete curb with the front tire, causing the motorcycle to fall over and eject the driver.

The motorcycle then slid across the ground, causing a heavy amount of damage to it.

The driver was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center for injuries sustained in the crash and the motorcycle was towed by the Kendall County Towing. No citations were issued.
