Yorkville Police Investigating After Child Left In Car
A child endangerment investigation is pending after police say a child was reported to be left unattended in car.

YORKVILLE, IL — Yorkville Police Department officials reported they're investigating after responding to a report of a child left inside a car on Friday, Aug. 3 in the 1600 block of North Bridge Street. According to police, the report of a child left in a car unattended came around 2:30 p.m. Police said the child's mother was located and both were released from the scene. However, an investigation into endangering the life or health of a child is pending.

Even if you park in the shade or leave windows open, this will have little effect on how the temperatures will continue to soar inside.
