Yorkville Skateboarder Hit by Car
Skateboarder was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center.

A juvenile was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center after being hit by a 2002 Dodge Intrepid, according to a release from the Yorkville Police Department.
At 4:05 p.m. June 16, a skateboarder entered the intersection of John Street and Willow Way in Yorkville without checking to see if the intersection was clear. The skateboarder was then hit by a 22-year-old Yorkville woman. The driver of the vehicle was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle. Her car was still drivable following the collision. The severity of the skateboarder’s injuries is unknown.
