Yorkville Wallet Thief Nabbed Months After Incident: Police

A Yorkville man was arrested in connection to a months-old theft from the Plano YMCA.

Lawrence Clark, 32, allegedly stole money and credit cards from a wallet in a locker Dec. 29, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. After the theft, deputies learned that the stolen credit card was used at a Plano gas station.

Detectives began an investigation and on April 19 charged Clark with unlawful use of a credit card and theft. Clark’s bail was set at $25,000, with ten percent to apply.

Clark was taken into custody on April 22 without incident and posted bond pending his next court appearance.
