Yorkville Woman's Dog Bites Man, Punctures Skin
The man went to a local hospital, but did not require stitches.

YORKVILLE, IL — A man going for a run Sunday was bitten in the calf by a dog.
According to the Yorkville Police Department, the man was running in the 2000 block of Titus Drive at around 9 a.m. when the dog bit him and punctured the skin.
The man was treated at a nearby hospital, but did not require stitches.

The owner of the dog told police that she had an underground fence shock collar for the dog and was unaware of the incident. She said she’d replace the batteries to ensure the shock collar is working.
Michele Schuster, 44, of Yorkville, was issued a local citation for the dog bite.
