Yorkville's Weird Police Logs: Trespasser, Damaged Cinderblock
One of these stories is a head scratcher, and the other is a bit spooky.

YORKVILLE, IL — A cinderblock was damaged at a Yorkville business, according to a report from the Yorkville PD. Police responded to the 100 block of E. Hydraulic Avenue around 6 a.m. Sunday on a call of items being damaged.
"Upon officer arrival it was determined that an unknown suspect used an unknown object to damage a cinderblock at the business," the police report read.
The estimated damage is $10.

Then, on Tuesday, a woman in the 100 block of Appletree Court noticed her dog barking in the mid-afternoon and looked around her house to see if anybody was outside. She saw the blinds on the inside of her garage moving, according to a police report.
She told police she had closed the garage door, but it was now ajar. Police responded around 4:15 p.m. and checked out the area, noticing footprints in the snow leading from the garage door to the street. The police report revealed no further information.
