Koola Logistics' founder says the company is committed to investing long term in Carmel's workforce, culture, and local economy as it continues expanding its transportation services across North America.
   

• No. 4 Center Grove holds off No. 5 Carmel in 36-34 thriller (wthr.com) — Carmel fans saw a heart-stopping finish Friday as the Greyhounds' late rally came up just short in a 36-34 home loss to Center Grove, costing them the Copper Kettle. Carmel led early behind quarterback Jackson Treadway and running back Mychael Lewis, but a missed two-point conversion in the final minute sealed their first conference defeat.
   

• Carmel bicyclist seriously injured in Noblesville collision with truck (wishtv.com) — A 74-year-old Carmel resident was seriously injured Friday morning when a pickup turning onto 146th Street in Noblesville struck him as he biked across the intersection. Police closed the area for about two hours to investigate, and the bicyclist was taken to an Indianapolis hospital in serious condition while the truck driver was uninjured.
