Elderly Evansville Woman Located In Kentucky: Indiana State Police

Indiana State Police: 82-year-old woman found tired, disoriented and transported to hospital.

EVANSVILLE, IN — Indiana State Police report Shirley Hankins has been located in Kentucky, approximately two miles north of the Crofton exit in Christian County, KY. Officials report Hankins was tired and disoriented, and was transported to a hospital. Hankins’ beagle is also okay, and her family is en route to the hospital.

Indiana State Police are asking for the public's help in the search Shirley Hankins, of Evansville, who was last seen Thursday morning near Eddyville, Kentucky. The 82-year-old woman was spotted driving her silver 2014 Kia Sedona from Jackson, TN to her home in Evansville, where police say she failed to arrive. Police said Hankins was traveling with her beagle dog, and her vehicle has an Indiana disabled plate D268QH and a Delta Airline sticker on the rear bumper.

Officials describe Hankins as a white female with short gray hair, 5'7 and 140 pounds.
