IMPD Investigating Body Found On North Side Church Playground
IMPD officials have identified the man whose body was found on the grounds of a north side church: Report
INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials are investigating after members of a north side church found a man's body on a playground Tuesday afternoon, WISHTV reports. The news outlet says the body of 49-year-old Gary Swanson was found around 1:30 p.m. outside Union Chapel United Methodist Church in the 2700 block of East 86th Street. Swanson's cause or manner of death has not been released, however police report the man had gone missing overnight, WISH reports.
A toxicology report is pending.
