Indiana Blood Center Needs Your Donations
Indiana Blood Center says they need donors, especially with this blood type. Here's what you'll get if you donate:

CARMEL, IN -- January is National Blood Donor Month, and Indiana Blood Center is calling all those who are willing to donate - especially people with all O type blood. IBC says they're in need of blood, especially after the recent freezing, dangerous weather. IBC recently posted a photo to social media showing just how empty their shelves are, as they have less than a one day supply of all O types (O+ and O-).
In a recent post, IBC is urging community members to "Do more than like or retweet, schedule your appointment."
If you sign up and donate Thursday, Jan. 11, you'll receive a limited edition Frank Gore football as it's the last chance to get one as part of the Indianapolis Colts and IBC's Bleed Blue campaign.

Head to Four Day Ray Brewing in Fishers Monday, Jan. 15 and receive a gift card if you donate blood.
IBC says the only thing that will fill their low supplies are your donations, so sign up to donate at several IBC locations at donorpoint.org.

American Red Cross Indiana locations also need blood, as the recent weather has caused several donor appointment cancellations.

These shelves, almost empty, hold the blood supply for Indiana. When traumas happen, when patients need blood, when children need transfusions - this is where it comes from. The only thing that will fill these shelves is YOUR donation. Schedule now: https://t.co/3RgaWVyyTW pic.twitter.com/LlUeVHh1PS
