Indiana Students To Hold Pro-Gun Walkouts Wednesday
Hundreds of schools across the country, including Carmel High School, are participating in "Stand for the Second."

CARMEL, IN — Will Riley, a high school senior from Carlsbad, New Mexico, is calling on students across the country to stage walkouts at their schools for 16 minutes Wednesday, May 2 in support of gun rights and the Second Amendment. Hundreds of schools across the country, including Carmel High School, are participating in the "Stand for the Second" demonstration.
While some participated in a 10 a.m. walkout, the following are staging one at 3 p.m.:
- Carmel High School Walkout, Carmel
- Huntington North High School Walkout, Huntington
- Oak Hill High School Walkout, Swayzee
Across Indiana, several high schools including Greencastle Community High School, Sullivan High School, Mitchell High School and Carroll High School took part in the 10 a.m. walkout.
