Michelle Obama Scheduled To Speak At Indianapolis Event

AP News reports former first lady Michelle Obama is scheduled to come to Indianapolis for a Feb. 13 event hosted by the Women's Fund of Central Indiana. The event, "A Moderated Conversation with Former First Lady Michelle Obama," will take place at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The Women's Fund hopes to give out 500 free tickets to women and girls who may not otherwise be able to come to the event, AP reports.

Alecia DeCoudreaux, a founding board member of women's fund and former president of Mills College, will be the event moderator, AP says.

The Women’s Fund is a special interest fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation, which aims to create opportunities and options for women and girls throughout Central Indiana.
