This Year's Bike Carmel Slow Roll Ride Has Changed Due To The Pandemic
It is now a self-guided event that can be done with family members and friends while observing safe physical distancing.
September 11, 2020
Conquer the CAB, Bike Carmel’s “Slow Roll Ride” presented by IU Health North, is looking a little different than in past years. In 2020, we were all set to help you Conquer the Carmel Access Bikeway (CAB) routes in Carmel by riding them together. But, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have changed the ride to make it a self-guided event that can be done with family members and friends while observing safe physical distancing.

There are five CAB routes of varying distances. So far, we have completed the City Center Loop (6.8 miles) in May, the White River Loop (7.2 miles) in June, the West Loop (9.7 miles) in July, the Village Loop in August (12.5 miles) and this month, we will bump up the distance a bit and conquer the Cool Creek Loop (13.9 miles). Beginning Saturday, September 12 through Sunday, September 20, you can explore the Cool Creek Loop and take a photo at any of the various routing signs and post it to the Facebook event.
Please see the event Facebook page for a list of missing route signs due to repaving in the area and the link to the digital Map My Ride route map.
