β’ EPD: Woman charged after autistic child found alone in parking garage (14news.com) β Evansville police say a 21-year-old woman faces a felony neglect charge after a non-verbal 4-year-old in her care was found alone in a parking garage in June. Investigators allege unsafe conditions around the child, including unsupervised visitors and suspected drug activity, and report the child has since been placed with their father while the case proceeds through Vanderburgh County courts.
