2 Arrested In Fishers Home Invasion

Fishers police say two people were hurt after suspects entered their home in Sandstone Village neighborhood.

FISHERS, IN — Fishers police say they arrested an adult male and female juvenile after a home invasion in which two people were injured in the 12600 block of Adirondack Court in the Sandstone Village Neighborhood. According to police, Jerron D. Bond (pictured), 18, of Fishers, and a 17-year-old female from McCordsville are being charged with Residential Entry, a level 6 felony, for the July 3 incident. Police say they arrived to the house on that day to find the homeowner and her young daughter both suffering from minor injuries they got during a physical altercation with the suspects, who the homeowner said broke into her home.

Police say the homeowner told officers both she and her daughter were inside their house when someone started banging on the front door.

The woman told police that when she opened the door she saw several people on her property and told them to leave. Police said they pushed her aside as they went inside the house and started fighting with her daughter. The woman was hurt while trying to protect her daughter, but police say neither victim needed medical help.
