2. Billy Strings concerts a boost for Fishers Event Center revenue (youarecurrent.com) — Fishers Event Center leaders say three sold-out Billy Strings concerts in early August will help turn around weaker-than-expected revenue from the first half of the year, boosting city ticket-share income and debt payments. Managers also highlighted cost-cutting on utilities and plans for more outdoor gathering spaces at Forum Credit Union Plaza as they prepare for 16 touring shows later this year.
3. Council OKs DORAs for downtown, Fishers District (youarecurrent.com) — Fishers residents will soon be able to carry alcoholic drinks outdoors within two new Designated Outdoor Refreshment Areas in the Nickel Plate District and Fishers District, pending state review.
